Scout is a daughter of our Rainie, bred to Champion Deep Run Casablanca MH. Her 4 generation pedigree includes 5 of the 81 Labradors in the history of the AKC to have earned both show Championships and Master Hunter titles, a very unique and accomplished pedigree in both the show ring and the field.
Scout's field trainer has called her the happiest dog on the planet. She has a lovely disposition and loves to work. She easily finished her Junior Hunter in 2017 and has trained toward her Senior title. In 2019 she traveled to Manitoba with Ron and his hunting partners for her first big goose hunt and performed like a champ.
Scout is also a younger full sister of Molly AKA "AddisonOaks Seas the Day NW3-elite CD BN RE SWA SHDN THDN TKA CGC SDA TDI", a dog who has accomplished more than we could have imagined. Scout is much like her sister in both attitude and looks. She has a sweet expression and loves to cuddle. She decided to be a lap dog when she was a baby and on occasion continues to take advantage of that privilege.
She has an amazing instinctive ability to understand the frailties of our senior dogs. At times her youthful exuberance makes her like a bull in a china shop but she knows to be gentle and accommodating with the seniors. She looks after them when they are out in the yard, often refusing to come in the house, waiting and watching over them from the walkway until they are ready to come in.
